History in Netivot • Baba Baruch Guest of 'X-ray '

Mini history in Netivot: rapprochement between the 'X-ray' and Baba Baruch Abuhatsira goes up a level.

After the two met for reconciliation in the house of Baba Baruch, tonight (Wednesday) at the unveiling of a structure for Talmud Torah 'Yad Hamelech', under the presidency of R' Yaakov Israel Ifergan, known as the X-ray – and the one who surprised and came to honor the event was none other than R' Baruch Abuhatsira, whose circles were hostile until recently to the X-ray.

The hostility between the two, which divided the public in the city, even led to the establishment of a party which ran in the local elections by X-ray - and with great success.

Now, with the coming of peace, the Baba Baruch was honored by Rabbi Ifergan to fix the first mezuzah in a classroom. Then he greeted the crowd and firstly Rabbi Ifergan.

The Rav thanked him and wished him long life in his kingdom with robust health.

The special party was opened under the direction of Director of Talmud Torah, Rabbi Lior Michael Shaer, who welcomed with a blessing in the name of Hashem. Among the participants was also CEO Ma'ayan Torah Education Yoav Ben-Tzur, who spoke and noted that during the many visits he conducted he could feel the special love that students have to the place.

The Rav of the community, Rabbi Danon Danin, spoke about the special virtue of these days, Hanukkah, to unveil a place for holy and pure learning where students grow in Torah and pure fear of Heaven. At the end of his special talk the Rav was honored with lighting Chanukah candles.

The main speech was given by Harav Ifergan who honored the work of those who perform the sacred work, and blessed them with warm blessings for their great deeds.

At the end of the special evening an unveiling ceremony was held by the Rav and the donor Danny Vanono.
