A month ago the principal at the Talmud Torah Chochmos Shlomo in Jerusalem distributed salaries for teachers. The checks were written for 5th of the month. One teacher needed cash as soon as possible, contacted one of the changes to cash out the check.
After receiving the money in cash, he returned to his home in Yesodot - and hid his salary.
That evening the teacher and his family went to a wedding they were invited to. When he returned home he was shocked - a thief broke into the house and the amount of money buried in a secret location – was stolen.
The morning after, when he arrived at the Talmud Torah, he told his colleagues about the burglary in his home, and that he will now have to face a whole month without a salary.
When the Talmud Torah principal heard what had happened, he summoned the teacher to his room, and wrote a new check.
