A majority of 19 in favor, nine against and one abstention, and to the shouting sounds of 'fascist Jews' of Ahmad Tibi, the Elections Committee disqualified MK Hanin Zoabi from participating in the next Knesset.
Since this is a personal rejection and not a party rejection, the hearing in the case will be automatically extended to the composition of the Supreme Court, which will discuss it next week.
The orthodox and right-wing parties, including Kadima party, supported the disqualification. It was requested by Likud MK Ofir Akunis.
