A mystery at the Toldos Aharon Hasiddus: who punctured the tires of the Rebbe's car?
This morning (Wednesday) the Rebbe's driver and a number of chassidim discovered that the two tires on the left side of the vehicle were punctured.
To date it is not yet known who was behind the act. Unlike various reports, the chassidus denies that the act was committed by the 'Sikrikim'. "They have no purpose in that," said a member of the Hasiddus.
However, there is a view that the tires went over a sharp object during a trip last night, outside the city. Factors in the Hasiddus further stressed that even if they were sure that it was out of rivalry – they would not file charges with the police.
At around 11:00am the Rebbe associates filled the tires with air again, in order to travel with the car to a near by garage to replace the tires with new ones.
