Shortly after 21:00 a Palestinian suspected as terrorist was arrested at the Atarot checkpoint near Jerusalem. On his body a knife and tear gas were found, as reported by the Tatzpit agency.
This is an Arab who arrived at the Atarot crossing near Jerusalem, which is staffed by Border Policemen, and tried to convince the soldiers from the military police crossings to allow him to pass.
An examination conducted on his body, a 15cm long knife was found. In his interrogation he said that he wanted to attack.
Shay Hakimi, a spokesman for the Border Police confirmed the details to Behadrey Haredim, adding that the detainee was taken for questioning by the border police of the Jerusalem surroundings area.
Meanwhile, Arab rioters threw Molotov cocktails at Route 60 (tunnels) between the tunnel blockagde and Har Gilo, by miracle there were no injuries.
