Renovations at Kotel: more bathrooms, construction of lobby
After years of operations by Islamic officials to prevent any development at the Western Wall, despite the great needs, the programs were approved: Doubling of bathrooms, indoor lobby building and police station

Renovations at the Wall Western Wall began for the sake of the visitors of the site.
After many years of public demands to increase the toilet rooms, and the objections of Islamist factors and others who worked to thwart any development at the Western Wall, despite the greatest needs arising from the arrival of about 10 million visitors per year, the first plans include doubling the bathrooms, building an indoor lobby for the Western Wall Tunnels and the Generations Center, and the separation of the entrance from the toilets.
In addition, a police station and other rooms will be built, to meet the needs of the public visiting the area and employees of the Western Wall.
The Western Wall Heritage Foundation, hope that work at the site will be completed within a year.
