In the various headquarters of the United Torah Judaism, activists have hardly begun to wake up a little, and one can still not point to genuine enthusiasm and 'combustion' on the scene.

Those who are trying to heat engines and to contact their target audience which to their mind has been fairly neglected - are the heads of the group of hareidi workers, a group which may not be institutionalized as a movement of 'Tov', but it is important for its people to contact their target audience to surely vote for Torah Judaism.

One of them, Yehudah Glickman, "A working Haredi for whom it is important to listen to Da'as Torah", as defined, has been knocking for many weeks on the entrances of the heads of 'Degel Hatorah', in an attempt to harness them to help him run a campaign which he initiated. So far he had no great success, but he refuses to give up. This morning he decided to send the plan to the leaders of the movement, hoping they will be harnessed to work.

The following is a leakage from the document sent by him, the proposed work program.

"Scene Campaign. Degel HaTorah - Elections 5773.

1. The campaign is designed to stimulate the area, create a positive environment, and resolve conflicts which exist.
2. The strategic concept, to make direct contact with potential voters, especially the undecided, across the country.
3. The campaign is based on the idea of "marketing." That is to market the party and its unique characteristics in the public.

1. The setting up of a youngsters' headquarters, who will volunteer to coordinate and execute the operation, in two main tasks:

A. Establishment of a database of potential voters who are undecided, from all over the country (approximately 8,000 households).
B. Access those households directly, tapping on the door, and give them a letter from the heads of the party.

Setting up the database can be done in several ways: either on the basis of databases which are found at the offices of yeshivos, namely: List of graduates, or by collecting information using activists on potential voters, especially the "Balebatim" all over the country. Every activist can report ten or more homes that we should approach. One can use the databases that are in regional headquarters or data bases of communities.

After mapping and setting up the database, letters will be printed - personal letters in several versions to appeal personally to the heads of families, and signed by the party leaders, Knesset members, or prominent representatives and community leaders.

The letters shall be deposited with the activists to access those households directly – by tapping on the door, and by giving the letters to the man or his wife, while stating that the letter is personal to evoke the importance of voting for the United Torah Judaism party.

At the same time, a 'mobile headquarters' will be founded, which will go about hareidi concentrations across the country, and arouse the scene, with strong visibility of activists, will reinforce and strengthen the activists who access families, and will cause 'positive noise' in the streets. The mobile headquarters, will hang billboards, posters, and other visible media, on the porches of houses at concentrations relevant to the activities throughout the country.

The direct profit: the creation of "happening" of elections, and creating unit pride for those audiences, with direct and impressive impact. "Someone is thinking of you personally, and wants to continue to represent you with respect and trust."

The cost of such a campaign is derived from the headquarters management salary, by people who work and are experienced in marketing, along with a cover for hosting expenses, per diem expenses for those activists, one meal per day, drinks, refreshments, and a budget for activists' transport from place to place."

When his appeal is answered, if and when, we will be happy to report it.
