He is not Tommy Lapid, he sees himself as someone who tradition in Israel is important to him, and any attempt to present him in a negative light hurts him. Personally, in his opinion, it also affects his voters.
Shas opened the current election campaign, where Avigdor Lieberman is seen, wearing a skullcap, alongside the slogan: Shas will look after him (and Netanyahu). Lieberman was hurt, picked up the phone to Aryeh Deri, heard from him what he had heard, and the wonderful friendship between the two men remained.
