The end of the era of Jews in Yemen?
Iranian news agency claims that Israel is working to bring to Israel the last Jews remaining in Yemen. The reason: fear of their injury in the wake of their support of the deposed leader Saleh.
According to the report, a group of Yemeni Jews have left Dukhan in Akhtar towards Israel on a plane belonging to the Khater State.
Until now, Israel has not confirmed the reports.
The essence of the Yemenite Jews immigrated to Israel in the first years of the establishment of the state in 'Operation Magic Carpet'.
Satmar who were opposed to the Zionist state operated in recent years among the remaining Yemenite Jews and convinced them not to go to Israel. A group of them left Yemen and became part of the Satmar community in Monsey.
