"Maybe that way the charedim will know what Intifada it"
During a program discussing equality burden in the Friday News, TV presenter Danny Kushmaro said of the Orthodox public: "Maybe once they will know what Intifada is close up"

Television presenter against the charedim?
Danny Kushmaro, presenter of Studio Friday, a weekly broadcast on Channel 2 on Friday night, inveighed against the ultra-Orthodox community and yeshiva students harshly and said, "Maybe once they will know what Intifada is close up."
During the discussion which developed at the studio on recruiting charedim and equality burden, journalist Rina Mazliach said the Orthodox officials have stated that if the law will be designed to recruit the ultra-Orthodox, "there will be an Intifada of the Torah world by leadership of the Rabbis - both in Israel and internationally."
Here is where Kushmaro's remark came in: "Maybe once, they will know what Intifada is close up."
It is doubtful whether the television presenter's statement was made deliberately or whether it was a slip of the tongue, either way this is a serious statement.
