Why was Shelly Yachimovich in awe of Parashas Mishpatim?

Avodah Party Chairman MK Yachimovich, said tonight (Sunday) on her Facebook page, why she likes Parashas Mishpatim.
"This is a very serious set of rules," wrote Yachimovich, "which has unusual elements in their morality, due to the fact that at a time when slavery was as natural as breathing air."
Yachimovich reminded the struggles for workers, amongst them their fight to allow cashiers to sit during work.
She also reminded the struggle for the 'right to leave for the bathroom law' which is actually an amendment for the 'working and rest hours law'.
"During this non simple struggle for the law (which the treasury objected to!)," wrote Avodah Party chairman, "I said that concerning the Hebrew slave laws it is not mentioned the right to go to the bathroom, because even then, during the dark ages, no one thought to stop slaves from doing their needs," said Yachimovich.
