State of Israel officially admits: Israeli citizen who also held foreign citizenship was arrested, held under a false identity for security reasons, and committed suicide two years ago.
Most of the other details of the case imposed a gag order, but tonight (Wednesday) the Attorney General allowed publishing "The Prison Service held a prisoner who was an Israeli citizen and also held foreign citizenship. According to the report, Zygier joined the Israeli Mossad, and was found hanging in a cell where he was held in solitary confinement in Ayalon Prison in Ramle, in December 2010. A week later his body was flown to Melbourne, his hometown. He was buried in a Jewish cemetery in the city on December 22 during the same year.
