Ally in the Arabian Peninsula?

Israel is planning a possible attack on Iran, along with Saudi Arabia , in case the nuclear program is not curbed in the Geneva talks, as reported this morning (Sunday) , by the British newspaper " Sunday Times". The newspaper said the Israeli Mossad began to take action with officials in the Arab country.

There are no diplomatic relations or official relations between the two countries, but they both concerned about the possibility that a lenient agreement will enable Iran to continue developing its nuclear program.

Thus Saudi Arabia gave Israel permission to pass in its airspace, if an attack on Iran is indeed implemented.

A senior diplomatic source told the newspaper: "After the signing of the agreement in Geneva, the military option will be on the table again. Saudis are furious about the agreement no less than Israel and are willing to give Israel all the assistance it needs." He said Saudi aid may also include rescue helicopters, refueling planes and unmanned aircraft.

It should be noted that according to a BBC investigation published this month, Saudi Arabia has invested heavily in the nuclear program of Pakistan as an "insurance guarantee" against Iran. According to the report, which was based on intelligence reports, Pakistan is expected to transfer nuclear weapons produced on its territory to Saudi Arabia if Iran arms itself with a bomb of its own. The publication also claimed that Pakistan is hoarding nuclear bombs, and that it is willing to transfer them to its Arab ally in a month - an option about which the United States is concerned.
