Baby born in IDF field hospital set up to help victims of the Philippines hurricane • happy father decided to call the baby 'Israel'

Hospital of the IDF delegation to the Philippines opened on Friday in Cebu City. Since its opening it treated 370 sick and wounded, including 150 children.
Doctors at the hospital performed surgery, using advanced medical equipment and there were the 5 births, including cesarean birth which took place in the car where the mother was rushed to the hospital.
On Friday, when Medical Corps crews completed the to build the hospital, a woman came and gave birth with the assistance of the teams. The father decided that he would be called - Israel.
The IDF said that the baby was born in the eighth month of pregnancy, weight 2.150 kg, assisted by gynecological staff of the delegation.
District Governor David Hilario III visited the site, met the delegation leaders and thanked them for their assistance to the Philippines.
