Concern in Jerusalem: at the end of long discussions it was announced tonight (Sunday) by foreign ministers of the six powers - the United States, Britain, France, Russia, China and Germany - that they managed to reach an interim agreement with Iran.

U.S. President Barack Obama presented the agreement at a press conference at the White House, the main points of which are: Iran is obligated to stop a certain level of uranium enrichment and neutralize some reservoirs, it can not use the next generation of centrifuges to enrich uranium and can not assemble or operate new centrifuges, Iran will stop the work at the plutonium site, new control will provide access to Iran's nuclear facilities and allow the international community to ensure that it fulfills its obligations.

Obama added, "The agreement with Iran is an important first step towards a comprehensive solution, if Iran does not comply with its obligations, sanctions will be returned, the U.S. is determined and committed to its allies, especially Israel and our partners in the Gulf, who have good reasons to be skeptical about Iran's intentions."

A senior in the U.S. administration said that Obama will speak today with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and update him about the agreement.

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Jawad Zarif threw up his hands when he went out of the hotel and said "We have a deal". He wrote on his Facebook page: "There is recognition of our right to enrichment."

But Secretary of State John Kerry explained: "Whatever the interpretation, it is not in this document. It has no right to enrich. Its plan is subject to negotiations."

Later he told a news conference in Geneva that the agreement with Iran, allows it time and space to prove it desires peace, and "will turn our allies in the region to be safer. Israel too. We respect Israel and Prime Minister Netanyahu. Netanyahu is a friend."

Kerry added that he spoke with Netanyahu on the issue in recent days and explained: "There is no difference between the United States and Israel on the ultimate goal, even if there is a difference in tactics."

Kerry also praised Iran and said, "Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Zarif came here and worked hard." Earlier he tweeted: "Geneva Agreement: the first step which makes the world safer. There is more work."

France, which also introduced tough positions, is a partner to satisfaction: French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius jerked his thumb as a sign of victory.

British Foreign Secretary William Hague tweeted: "The agreement is an important first and encouraging step with Iran. The nuclear program will not progress for six months, and parts of it will return back. The agreement shows that you can work with Iran."
