Beit Midrash of Lelov in Boro Park caught fire Shabbos evening.
A fire broke out in the shul hall of Lelov in Boro Park, on the bottom floor of the Beit Midrash near the stairs leading to the Beit Midrash and apartment of the Rebbe Rabbi Yaakov Yitzchak Biderman.
Eyewitness said the fire broke out after a fire broke out near the steps; worshipers gathered the sacred objects, sefarim and sifrei torah and took them quickly out of the Beit Midrash. The Admor rushed out of his house with his family.
Firemen were called, arrived quickly and were able to take over the fire but damage was caused to the Beit Midrash, the Ark and the contents of the study, but no casualties.
