German federal prosecutors charged the former SS man accused of the murder of Jews and other civilians in occupied France at the end of World War II.
Man, provided only his first name Werner is 88 years old. He is charged with 25 counts of murder and assisted dozens of murders in the massacre committed by the Nazis near the city of Limoges in 1944.
Among other things he is accused of murdering residents who participated in the town Aordor sur Glane, after the French Resistance kidnapped a German soldier. Massacre killed more than 600 men, women and children
Meanwhile, German Court House - overturned the trial of an elderly man who was a member of the Nazi SS. Siret Bruins 92, a German citizen who was born in Holland, and who was charged with murder 70 years ago a member of the Dutch underground.
The court dismissed the case on the grounds that the evidence is poor and is unable to examine witnesses to decide.
