Kiev: local Talmud Torah teacher brutally attacked
Three local youths followed the teacher on his way home, and beat him till unconscious • Police on the way to capture them

A Talmud Torah teacher in Kiev, Ukraine was attacked yesterday (Sunday) night by three young men on his way home from ma'ariv.
The teacher left the shull to go home, when three local youths followed him. When he arrived at his doorstep, they fell upon him, and beat him all over his body - while cursing against Jews.
The teacher screamed for help and the three young men fled. A neighbor who heard the screams, found the teacher as he lay unconscious on the sidewalk and called the police and an ambulance for the casualty.
The teacher was taken to a local hospital.
The police immediately launched an investigation. After watching the security film of the synagogue and a building next door, in which the three local youths are clearly seen as they follow the teacher, police promised to capture them. According to them, these youngsters are not known to the police.
