Tragedy in Boro Park: a girl of twelve was seriously injured on Shabbos afternoon by a passing car.
The accident occurred on Shabbos at 4:30 pm on the corner of 12th Ave. and 59th St. in Boro Park.
The girl crossed the street between two parking cars and was hit by a passing car whose driver did not notice her.
Hatzala forces arrived on the scene and gave first aid to the girl who sustained a head injury. After first aid she was transferred to the Shneider children's hospital in Hyde Park, while on a respirator and resuscitator.
The police interrogated the driver, who claimed the girl went onto the road in between two parking cars and it was not possible to notice her. He was released after interrogation.
The family asks the public to daven for the refuah sheleima of Nechama bas Chaya Chava Malka.
