Mission: Capture haredi girl and knockout to older woman
Lakewood: Young Hispanic was arrested after he tried to abduct a haredi girl and hurt a woman - as a condition for being accepted to a local crime organization

A young Hispanic tried yesterday (Tuesday) to kidnap a haredi girl and to knockout an old haredi woman - as part of a mission he had to undergo as a condition for being accepted to a local crime group.
The incident occurred last night on 5 East Street in Lakewood: a young Gentile chased a 16-year-old haredi girl trying to kidnap her. The girl began screaming and the youngster escaped. Minutes later police were called to Lawrence Avenue in Lakewood, where an old Orthodox woman claimed that the young man followed her and her daughter aged 16 and raised their suspicions.
The Chaverim Organization tried to trace the youngster, and indeed, he was observed not far away driving a car with its license plates covered. A volunteer in the Chaverim organization followed him and called the police in the meantime which encircled him. At one point the young man stopped his car and tried to escape, but the police chased him and after struggling with a policeman, he was handcuffed and arrested.
Police said the suspect is a young 18 year old Hispanic attempting to kidnap a Jewish girl and exercise a 'knockout' on an old Orthodox woman - as a condition of being accepted as a member of a local crime gang. The youngster was charged with resisting arrest, attempted intimidation of civilian and three counts of harassment. The judge ruled that the defendant could be released on bail of 18 thousand dollars. He was transferred to the county jail.
