Rebbe of Vizhnitz: we survived Pharaoh – we'll survive IDF
Viznitz: at the conclusion of Yom Tov event attended by thousands of Hasssidim, the Rebbe said: "Especially now we must strengthen Torah learning"

Vizhnitzer Rebbe warned tonight (at the end of the last day of Pesach) at the conclusion of Yom Tov event, against the danger luring to Torah learners and said: "At this time, when those who uproot religion do not want us to open a page of Gemora, we must strengthen Torah study with all our might."
The Rebbe held an end of Yom Tov event at the Viznitz suburb of Bnei Brak and called to strengthen tefilla, Torah study and acts of kindness. According to tradition, the event attended by thousands of Hassidim is utilized by the Rebbe to inspire his followers.
"I call to strengthen the mashgichim in Batei Midrash not talk at all in the Beis Midrash, not even in the corridors," he said, adding, " I recently learned about dozens of cases of renting apartments to undesirable people that cause many obstacles, there is a special committee for the sale and rental of apartments in the neighborhood, one should not sell or lease without approval from the committee."
The Rebbe concluded his remarks with regard to summer: "Summer is coming which is so dangerous, both on the streets and in all the various resort locations, each of which demands extra guarding."
Finally the Rebbe said, "Fathers of yeshiva students who received mobilization orders come and tell me that mothers of boys and the boys themselves are stressed and scared the whole time due to warnings, harassment and threats by the military and the government. Nothing to worry about, no harm will come to anyone, 'kol kli yutzar alayich lo yitzlach'. As we left Egypt and we had an eternal redemption, so too we will be saved now and all who rise up against us to destroy us will be soon lost."
During the Tish the Rebbe asked the gabaim to bring 10kg of matzos and gave them out to his hassidim as a segulah of "bizas hayam".
