Shock: grave of Lubavitcher Rebbe's brother in Ukraine desecrated

Some tourists from Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine, who travelled to the grave of R' Dov Ber Schneerson hy"d - son of Rabbi Levi Yitzchak Schneersohn, and brother of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, of blessed memory, who was murdered and buried in a mass grave by the Nazis, found that his tombstone was vandalized and swastikas were etched on it.

Chabad emissary Rabbi Moshe Weber operating in the city noted in a conversation with Chabad Online website COL that he visited the place on Rosh Chodesh Nissan and the swastikas are from the last few days.

R' Dover zt"l was buried in a mass grave in Igren near the town of Dnepropetrovsk, which was discovered in 5756, and the exact date of his death is unknown.

Chabad Online note that the Rebbe himself wrote about his brother that "for now I do not know the day of his murder", and set the day of 24th Tishrei (the day that his grandmother the Rebbetzin Rachel Yanovsky was brutally murdered), as the Yahrzeit of his brother R' Duber zt"l, too.
