Another indictment against Weinstein; He denies
Former great donor is accused of the crime of another financial scam • If convicted, 38 year old Weinstein is likely to spend the rest of his life in prison

Haredi businessman from Lakewood - Eli Weinstein denied yesterday (Monday) in a court in New Jersey the new charges which the judge read of the indictment against him and two of his partners Alex Slaider and Aharon Glucksman, and claimed that he was innocent.
Weinstein is a haredi businessman who has lived in Har Nof neighborhood of Jerusalem in the past, and moved to Lakewood, where he became a wealthy real estate man, who was sought after by Roshei Yeshiva from around the world, and he in turn would donate generously.
In recent years Weinstein, who was defined as a financial genius, ran into trouble with dozens of fraud cases, and as of today he is serving a sentence of twenty-two years in a federal prison in New Jersey.
Yesterday Weinstein and two of his associates were brought to court in Trenton New Jersey for a hearing of the indictment in another affair. According to the indictment, the three are accused that they are a fictitious business owners investing in shares of Facebook company, and purchasing homes in Florida.
Weinstein denied the allegations against him but his partner Aharon Glucksman admitted that he acted together with its partners in raising a half million dollars for the purchase of an apartment complex in Florida, which never existed. Glucksman said he posed as Arthur Golden – father-in-law of Glucksman and lawyer by profession and as the project manager in Florida.
The judge sentenced Aharon Glucksman with a prison term of four and a half years, three years probation and a fine. The trial of partner Alex Slaider will be held on the 8th to 10th of September. If Weinstein will indeed be convicted of new offenses attributed to him, l Weinstein, 38, will be compelled to spend the rest of his life in the federal prison.
