Miracle in Crown Heights: 3 year old fell from third floor and saved

'Miracle', they called yesterday what happened in the neighborhood: a 3 year old child fell from the third floor and remained alive.
The incident occurred yesterday (Sunday) morning when parents who are Chabad Hasidim were awakened by the screams of a three year old. To their astonishment they found that their 3 -year-old son fell out the window. The parents said that the two children of 3 and 5 arose early and played at the window leading to the fire escape, whose goal is to allow people to escape in case of fire. The 5 year old child was able to open the window, and the 3-year-old boy crawled out and fell from the third floor.
An investigation of the case indicates that the window was indeed locked as needed, but by law the window must be locked in a way which is easy for anyone to quickly escape the house during a fire. By a great miracle, the child fell on soft ground.
Hatzala drives who arrived took the child to a local hospital. At the hospital internal injuries were diagnosed in the child's body, but the child's condition was defined as mild, and he will be released from the hospital in the coming days.
