Almost double disaster: the son of Menachem Stark robbed

Avraham Stark, 11-year-old son of Rabbi Menachem Stark hy"d who was robbed, kidnapped and brutally murdered, was robbed yesterday too (Monday) at gunpoint by a group of local youths who attacked him and threatened to kill him and steal his bike.
The New York Post reports that the incident occurred yesterday at seven o'clock at the corner of Lorimer and Union streets in Williamsburg. According to the report, Avraham, 11, was riding on his bicycle when a group of boys surrounded him and demanded them.
The boy said that one of the men pulled out a knife and threatened to kill him if he did not hand over his bike. A bystander who witnessed the event began to shout for help, the boys dropped the boy off his bicycle and ran away with them.
Police said Avraham was not hurt and his bike was located a few blocks from the event. Police and Shomrim volunteers rushed to check security cameras in the event, to try to identify the robbers.
Word of the attempted robbery quickly spread throughout the neighborhood, and the decoding subject in the murder came up again on the agenda.
Recall, last week police appealed to the aid of residents in the neighborhood, and asked anyone who was on the night of the kidnapping in the streets near where the abduction and saw something unusual, to call police on a special line.
