None of the guests who participated in last Motzei Shabbos engagement of an Orthodox couple, who lives in Boro Park, did not know the bride's parents saga mid engagement.

It all started immediately after breaking of the plate, when the father of the bride went to give the happy groom a watch he purchased for the event. Photographers were already ready, the groom and his heaving crowds were already waiting with curiosity, but something went wrong, when the bride's father went to take out the watch, he found that the box was cut and the elegant and prestigious watch disappeared.

Instead turmoil began, but was silenced as soon as the music went on as usual. Shomrim volunteers were called to the hall, and began an investigation and search. Rabbi Joel Tversky, uncle of the Bride, tells what happened: "the prestigious watch lay in the original box clock and wrapped as a gift, the clock was in the bag along with other things of the bride. Bride's father went to give the groom the clock when all his friends and photographers are standing with curiosity and business delayed, everyone started running around, the box was torn and there was no trace of the watch, in the box lay only the warranty certificate of the watch."

The uncle continues: "At first we thought his wife took the clock out of the box, to be ready, but then it turned out that the watch was gone. To avoid a mess, we ordered the orchestra to continue, we whispered the event to the groom and everything went on as usual. We did not want to provoke chaos so the thief would not run away. Meanwhile, we ordered the organization of Shomrim who arrived and placed someone at the door of the hall to keep an eye on anyone suspicious perhaps one of the gentile workers trying to escape. "

"Police were called to the scene and searched the files of Gentile employees. Police also took the video film cameras installed throughout the building, including in the hall. The watch and the thief still have still not been caught, we hope that the police will look through the video and find the thief; this watch is very prestigious "said the uncle of the bride.
