Agudath Israel of America released today (Monday) a statement condemning the murder of the Arab boy by Jews, and defined it "Chilul Hashem".
The statement issued said: "The Jewish religion does not tolerate violence, unless it is for self defense. The Jewish religion condemns murder and considers it a serious crime. Taking the life of an innocent person is an evil deed, and takes us to the lowest and most vicious level of our enemies. This is a desecration of G-d.
"The Jewish world was immersed in deep grief at the murder of the three Jewish boys a few weeks ago, and to mourn is the correct response to such a murder, but in no way to revenge. It is G-d's job to punish - not ours.
"We send our sympathy to families of the victims - both those of the Jews and the Arab, and hope that the Israeli government will capture and place the murderers on trial.We pray to the Creator "who makes peace in His high places" - that he make peace for us and all the people of Israel in Israel."
