American Council: "Pray for Israel"
"Protective Edge" across the sea: Council of Torah Sages of America calls on the public to pray for the safety of the State of Israel

Council of Torah Sages of America issued a call to pray for the Jews of Israel following the emergency situation since the start of Operation Protective Edge.
Council of Torah Sages of America follows with concern the escalation in the country and is releasing today (Tuesday) a "call" to all the synagogues and houses of study throughout the U.S., to carry out a special prayer for Israel.
At the request of the Council one should recite right after morning prayers, the prayer "Acheinu" and the tehillim פ"ג, ק"ל, קמ"ב.
So the public is asked to devote each chapter of Psalms and all learning, in favor of Israel.
Tomorrow morning tehillim will be recited at summer camps and yeshiva camps in New York.
