Series of anti-Semitic incidents occurred in France since the beginning of operation "Protective Edge" firebomb attack last Shabbos at a synagogue in a suburb of Paris.

The incident occurred on Friday night after the evening prayer. A Molotov cocktail was thrown at the entrance to the synagogue in South Louise, located in the suburb of North Eastern France. A thrown bottle ignited fire on the door of the synagogue which was set on fire but no one was injured; it was reported today by the "La Honda" newspaper published in Paris.

On Shabbos a demonstration was held against the operation "Protective Edge" in Gaza, where dozens of protesters shouted "slaughter the Jews." The demonstration was held in Belleville - the capital city eastern suburb of Paris. Ellen Azaria, a Jewish photographer who documented the demonstration said that demonstrators shouted "Death to the Jews" and carried Anti Semitism signs.

Organization documenting all anti-Semitic incidents in France reports that on July 8, the day operation "Protective Edge" began, a man of Arab appearance, aged 17, attacked a religious girl near the railway station, and sprayed pepper spray on her face, the news headlines in the local media reported.
