Netanyahu: We’re in the Middle of a Very Difficult Time
The Prime Minister, Lieberman and Erdon at the Sarona scene; Meet guard who neutralized Terrorists and Heard His Report: “Murder in Cold Blood”

Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu came to the scene of the Sarona Tel Aviv murders Thursday night along with Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman and Internal Security Minister Gilad Erdan.
The group was briefed by Chicko Edri, head of Israel Police Tel Aviv’s district as well as the security guard who first shot at one of the terrorists.
Netanyahu said, “This was a very serious case of cold blooded murder by wicked terrorists. I would like first of all to send my condolences to the families whose worlds were destroyed and of course my best wishes for the speedy recovery of the wounded.
“I would like to praise the bravery of the citizen whose actions evidently saved countless lives, as well as the guard who acted so quickly, using his initiate. I would also commend the policeman who captured the second terrorist. We have held deliberations on a series of both offensive and defensive measure that we will implement to counterattack this serious phenomenon of shooting attacks. We expect maximum alertness on the part of our citizens, not only to locate those who were involved in these murders but also to prevent any further attacks.”
The prime minister noted that we were facing complicated, difficult times and said that, “We’re in the middle of complicated times. We will act unhesitatingly to do the right thing.”
