France: Terrorist Kills Police Chief and Wife
A senior police officer and his wife were killed in a suburb of Paris Monday night.

A senior police officer and his wife were killed in a suburb of Paris Monday night. The police commander was attacked outside his home while off duty. He was stabbed nine times and neighbors heard the assailant shouting "Allahu Akbar" during the attack.
The terrorist then went into the police commander's home taking the murdered man's wife and three year old son hostage.
After a three hour standoff commandos stormed the home and killed the terrorist. The three year old boy was found shocked but unharmed. Tragically his mother was found dead. It is not yet clear how she died.
The Islamic State's Amaq news agency said that an ISIS fighter carried out the attack although the group hasn't officially taken responsibility.
