Antwerp Grieves the loss of Reb Aharon Cohen zt"l
Reb Aharon was a pillar of chessed for the Belz community. He was niftar Shabbos at the young age 49.

Reb Aharon Cohen passed away in a Belgian hospital Friday night after a two year illness. He was a respected member of the Belz community and one of the Jewish communities great askanim. He was just 49 years old.
He suffered from a malignant illness for the last two years. Many had davened for the health of Aharon ben Miriam who unfortunately left us this Shabbos.
His father is the Av Beis din in Paris, and he married the daughter of Harav Avraham Yitzchak Angel, who is the granddaughter of the "Chashav Haeifod", Harav Padwa z"tl Av Beis Din in London.
Reb Aharon served as the Rav of the Beis Medresh Moriah (Terlist) for the last ten years. He also served for many years as a magid shiur in the Belz Yeshiva Ketana in Antwerp.
He founded an organization to help those hospitalized in Belgian hospitals and hosted many people in his home. He also established the "Areivim" organization.
This is a tragic blow to the Jewish community of Belgium in general at to the Belz community in particular.
The levaya will be held today at 4:30 p.m. at the Central Belz Beis Medresh, and will go from there to the Moriah Beis Medresh befor heading to the airport. The niftar will be buried in Eretz Yisrael.
