Taxi Driver gets 10 Years for Kidnaping Child
Jewish taxi driver sentenced to 10 years in prison after being found guilty of kidnaping a 7 year old Bais Yakov girl.

A Jerusalem taxi driver was sentenced to 10 years in prison after being found guilty of kidnaping a 7 year old Bais Yakov girl in 2014.
After dropping off a traveler in Ashdod the taxi driver saw a second grader standing outside her Bais Yakov school in Ashdod. He lured her into his car, drove her to a forest, attacked her and abandoned her in the forest.
Baruch Hashem she was able to make it to the street where she was rescued by a passerby who contacted her family and the police.
There have been a number of alarming incidents reported around Israel in recent weeks. Parents are urged to teach their children about personal safety and inappropriate touch. Make sure your children know that they could tell you should someone threaten them or make them feel uncomfortable.
A widely accepted Rav has urged parents to be on the alert and to warn children and teens that abuse should not be tolerated- not even from respected individuals.
