Reform Movement files Complaint against Charedi MK's
The charedi MK's walked out of the Knesset in order to protest the fact that a representative of the Reform movement was granted permission to speak. The Reform representative file a complaint with the Knesset ethics committee asking for an explanation.

The reform movement has lodged a complaint with the Knesset ethics committee, against the following MK's; Moshe Gafni, Yisrael Eichler, Uri Maklev, and Yakov Asher for leaving the meeting hall during a discussion over Mikvaos. The ethics committee has asked the MK's to respond.
Attorney Gilad Kariv presented the complaint on behalf of the Reform movement which says," In the name of the of Progressive Judaism movement in Israel we are lodging a complaint against the behavior of the UTJ movement whose members continuously leave the discussion hall if a speaker who identifies with the either the Reform of Conservative movement is given the right to speak… specifically we are requesting that you pay attention to the behavior of Moshe Gafni, Uri Maklev, and Yisreal Eichler who are part of the legislative committee. Legislative action is the heart of parliamentary activity and as such they will have to hear a wide range of ideas, including those that contradict their values…"
It is noted that the charedi MK's stage a protest and walk out every time that a Reform representative begins to speak.
