Michael was the menahel of the Hesder Yeshiva Beis Vaad Har Chevron in Otniel. He was 46 years old, and a father of 9 children.

One attack after another shakes up the Chevron community. Michal Mark was the man killed in the shooting attack in the Cheveron Hills Friday. His wife Chava Rochel is suffering from a serious head injury, and two of their children were also wounded.
Miki Mark was born in Yerushalyaim and was one of the founding group of bachurim of the hesder yeshiva Beit Vaad Har Chevron.
He eventually became the secretary of the administrator of the yeshiva which he ran for many years.
Harav R.A.M. Cohen, Rosh Yeshiva of Beit Vaad and the Rav of the Yeshuv in Otniel told Bechadrey," We are speaking about a gentle and refined man that was involved in administration. We had a meeting yesterday.
"Miki devoted his mornings to Torah learning, he worked as an administrator in the afternoons. It's incomprehensible that someone I psoke to just yesterday could have been killed today. We are gathering to daven for his wounded family members."
