Survey Shows Charedim Volunteer Twice as Much as Others

A study prepared for the “Shlomei Emunim” convention held on Wednesday in the Ukraine prepared by Arik Adler, Treasurer of the Bnei Brak Municipality who deals with many facets of the charedi sector shows that the charedi sector is involved in volunteerism to a great extent.

The study was presented to participants in the convention discussing its main issue: preparation for the future.

The most surprising finding of the study showed that 40% of the charedi sector is involved in volunteerism, which is more than twice the figure for Israel’s general population.
