Clinton Party Puts down Bid to toughen up on Israel

According to a Times of Israel report the effort to inject language critical of Israel for "occupation and illegal settlements" into the Democratic Party platform was voted down by supporters of Hillary Clinton. The discussion over the party's platform took place in Orlando, Florida, were a panel convened to draft the language of the high-stakes statement.
