Nine Dayanim Appointed to the Beit din Hagadol in Yerushalayim
After hours of tense meetings all parties finally came to an agreement in which nine new judges will be appointment to the Beit Din Hagadol.

Finally the Beit Din Hagadol has new dayanim.
The new Dayanim are:
Harav Aharon Katz, age 66 , a Litvish candidate who was supported by Degel Hatorah and the Ashkenazi Chief Rabbi. He had been part of the Rabbanut in Caifa and had served as an IDF Rabbi.
Harav Eliyahu Heishrik, age 66. A Gerrer Chassid who was supported by Agudas Ysirael, Litzman and Eichler. Served 19 years as a Dayan in Beit Shemesh and Tel Aviv.
Harav Yakov Zamir, age 63. Supported by shas. Served for 20 years as Rabad in Netnaya.
Harav Yitzchak Elimelich, age 66. Rabad in Tel Aviv, supported by Shas. Served 24 years as a Dayan in Ashkalon and Av Beit din in Tel Aviv. Served as an IDf Rabbi in the reserves.
Harav Tzion Luz, age 53. Is a Religious Zionist. Served as a R"am in KBY. Was an Av Beit din in Be'er Sheva.
Harav Michael Amos age 61. Supported by the Likud. Belonged to the Beit din in Netanya for 16 years, six of which he served as Av Beit Din. Has a teaching degree. Served as a Chovesh Kravi.
Harav Shlomo Shapira, age 61. He is Dati Leumi, Supported by Bayit Yehudi. Served as a Dayan for 13 years in Netanya.
Harav Maimon Nehari, age 56. Close to Shas. Served for 15 years in the regional Beit Hadin.
Harav Avraham Shindler, age 57. Supported by UTJ and Harav Lau.
The new Dayanim are:
