American Rabanim undertake emergency fundraising campaign on behalf of French Olim in Israel. The goal of the trip is to raise funds to enable the charedi community of Israel to properly absorb French children into the charedi school system.
Harav Dovid Feinstein, the Stamar Rebbe of Williamsburg, Harav Malkeil Kotler and Harav Aharon Feldman plan to visit a number of Canadian philanthropists to raise the required funds.
The goal is to raise 3 million dollars to insure that French immigrants are able to find places for their children within the charedi school system. The fund will also provide afterschool programing and tutoring to make the absorption as successful as possible.
