Gayle and Morty Yashar of Woodmere N.Y. have filed a lawsuit against operators of the 45 foot skyslide operating of the U.S. Bank Tower in L.A., which is the tallest building west of Chicago.

Gayle Yashar says she broke her ankle while ridding the slide, which she says has a defective design. She is not the first person to be injured on the glass slide.
The slide offers riders the thrill of sliding in a glass tube made of 1 and 1/4 inch thick glass 1,000 feet above the ground.

The suit claims that the slide has a faulty design that does not allow riders to slow down enough before reaching the end. There is also a gap between the end of the slide and a pile of mats put out to break the rider's fall. Gayle's ankle got caught in this gap, fracturing her ankle.
