Puerto Rico: Increase in Zika Cases
Government officials in Puerto Rico reported its largest weekly rise in Zika cases Friday.

Of the 4,437 cases reported since Zika was detected in December- 1,336 new cases were reported in the past week.
76 of Puerto Rico's 78 municipalities have reported Zika cases, 553 of whom are pregnant women.
U.S. health officials have been urging Puerto Rico to consider aerial spraying to combat the mosquitos responsible for spreading the virus. Despite the fact that U.S. government officials have said it is safe to spray with Naled, Puerto Ricans are protesting aerial spraying as they are concerned that Naled could harm wildlife and people's health.
