Miami: Police Officer Shoots Unarmed Black Therapist
A Florida policeman shoots an unarmed black behavior therapist who was lying on the ground with his hands in the air.

There is a video showing Charles Kinsey laying on the ground with his hands in the air as officers train their guns on him. He tried to explain to the policemen that he was with his 23 year old autistic patient who ran away from a group home. The autistic man's toy truck was apparently perceived to be a gun.
Charles Kinsey was complying with the police, thinking that he would be ok as long as his hands are in the air. He was concerned about his patient who was oblivious to the police.
After Kinsey was shot, completely unprovoked he asked the police officer who was handcuffing him," Sir why did you shoot me?"
To which he answered, "I don't know."
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
