After thousands of leaked emails proved that the Democratic party was biased against Bernie Sanders, Debbie Wasserman Schultz stepped down a day before the convention in Philly.

After thousands of leaked emails proved that the Democratic Party was biased against Bernie Sanders, Debbie Wasserman Schultz stepped down a day before the convention in Philly.
Thousands of Sanders supporters are expected to protest in Philadelphia as the convention gets underway.
Many Democrats are also upset that Clinton chose Tim Kaine as a running mate since they felt he was not progressive enough.
Among the issues discussed in the emails that have been leaked was an apparent attempt to manipulate events in such a way that Sander's religious beliefs would cause him to loose support.
According to the Washington Post an email from financial Brad Marshall read," “It might may no difference, but for KY and WVA can we get someone to ask his belief. Does he believe in a God. He had skated on saying he has a Jewish heritage. I think I read he is an atheist. This could make several points difference with my peeps. My Southern Baptist peeps would draw a big difference between a Jew and an atheist."
It's interesting to note that many Americans may have been more comfortable with a Jewish president who believes in G-d than an atheist Jew .
