Yair Lapid to remove Inciteful Video: “I Made a Mistake”
Would you believe: After Deputy Minister Porush revealed the lies in the video, Lapid apologizes in the Knesset plenum.

Following the protest by Deputy Minister of Education Meir Porush against Chairman of Yesh Atid Yair Lapid and presentation of the true numbers of 40 thousand children in the independent schools, Yair Lapid said that the figures in his party’s video were incorrect. Lapid’s video had claimed that there were one million children in independent schools.
Deputy Minister Porush protested in the Knesset plenum against the inciteful Yesh Atid film party wherein a person is saying, “Today the Israeli government decided to cancel the core curriculum. This means that close to one million citizens won’t study math or English; won’t be able to support themselves and will live lives of poverty. Do you know who will have to support them? Do you know who will carry them on their shoulders their entire lives?” The film then showed a secular boy with his father on his shoulders, and the fathers asks, “Is it heavy?”
In response, Lapid stood up in the Knesset plenum, addressed Porush and said, “I was mistaken.”
