Stepmother suspicious of systematically abusing her husband’s two sons

The Jerusalem District Attorney by Attorney Einat Baruch Yariv, indicted a 37 years old who lives in the Jerusalem area in respect of child abuse, dozens of counts of assaulting a minor and causing injury. The father is accused of violating the reporting requirement and assaulting a minor.
According to the indictment, the woman abused the father’s two sons from a previous marriage, ages 12 and 13 since 2010 . They sustained injuries from the abuse. She used to bite, pull their ears and neck, beat them firmly in her hands using shoehorns and a belt.
In one case, the defendant had taught the older boy to iron, when she wasn't satisfied with his work she slapped his cheeks and put the hot iron near his face. When he began to cry grabbed him by the ears and shook his head.
In another case, the young boy washed the floor of the house. The defendant thought his didn't clean well, she grabbed him by the throat so that her thumbs pressed on the windpipe until he felt dizzy and breathless and then slammed his head on the door.
The indictment also indicates that the father hit the two children in the back using a belt. He is also accused he hasn't prevented her from performing the acts and failed to report to the authorities.
