Bizarre incident- Harav Yosel Grossman Z''L who passed away last week, brother of Rav Yitschok Dovid Grossman YB’’L appeared in a dream to Hamekobel R' Hadeya telling him he is not permitted into Gan Eden because of an unpaid debt of one hundred shekel

''THEY DON'T LET ME INTO GAN EDEN''

Peculiar Dream: It appears that Harav Yosel Grossman Z''L, brother of Harav Yitschok Dovid Grossman who was nifter last week appeared in a dream to a mekubel from Yerushalaym. He informed him of a debt he owes someone in the amount of hundred shekel.

The story first began when R’ Yitzchok Dovid Grossman told his sister Rebbetzin Nusbaum to pass on to her husband that it was unnecessary to burden himself to come down in person to be menachem avel in Migdal Haemek. In this way R’ Nusbaum would be able to continue delivering his daily shiurim in Yerushalaym uninterrupted.
Harav Nusbaum headed his brother in laws suggestion and carried on with his daily shiurim in the Ohr Hatsafon shul which is located on rechiv Bar illan.

While giving one of his shiurim, Rav Nusbaum over heard a man inquiring about reaching Rav Grossman from Migdal Haemek.

To his great surprise, Rav Nusbaum uncovered the following story:
A mekubel from Yeshivat Hashallom by the name of R' Hadeya shared with this man an interesting phenomenon. Rav Yosel came to him twice in a dream and told him '' they do not allow me into Shivat Harekiim because I owe a man by the name of Dovid Uchyan one hundred shekel”.

Shocked, Rav Nusbaum quickly phoned his wife and shared with her what he had just heard.

In a video that was sent to “Chadrei Chareidim”, family members sitting shivah can be seen calling R’ David Uchyan and asking him if R’ Yosel did in fact owe him a hundred shekel.

R’ Uchyan who lives in the same neighborhood confirmed that R’ Yosel did in fact owe him the money, but he added, “I gave it to him as a gift, I was Mochel Belev Sholem’’. Rav Grossman asked that he should be mochel once more. R’ Uchyan readily agreed.

The story did not end there.

It became known to “Bechadrei chareidim”, with the help of Rav Grossman’s personal aid, R’ Yosei Roesh who thoroughly investigated the story, that money was actually returned.

While speaking to the wife of R’ Uchyan, she mentioned recalling her husband telling R’ Yosel “remember to pay me back”.

The family quickly dispatched R’ Chaim Menachem to pass on to R’ Dovid Uchyan one hundred shekel.
