There is much worry over the condition of Maran Rosh Hayeshivah, Hagaon R’ Aryeh Leib Shteineman shlit”a, who was transferred earlier today to the Intensive care unit of Mayenei Hayeshuah Hospital, located Bnei Brak.
The Rosh Yeshiva who is bli ayn horah 103 was taken to the hospital for treatment after being diagnosed with pneumonia.
Speaking to “Bechadrei Chareidim” via- phone call, Professor Motti Ravid of Mayenei Hayeshuah hospitel says, “the Rosh Yeshiva was transferred to the ICU in light of his advanced age, and because we are being very cautious”.
He adds “we are now in the midst of a very infectious contagious season. The Rosh Yeshiva is receiving proper medical care and his situation is stable. We will continue monitoring his situation and are hoping for the best”.
The Rosh Yeshiva’s family takes his health very serious, and as a measure of precaution, they recently had new glass windows installed on the Rosh Yeshiva’s porch, so that he wouldn’t catch a cold while lighting Chanukah candles.
At the request of the Rabbonim and Gedolim, Yeshivas and Shuls are to recite perkey tehillem after davening, Berov Am- for the Refuah Sheleymah of Hagaon Hagadol R’ Aryeh Leib Ben Gittel Faygah Lerfuah Sheleymah.
