Security Officer Injured In Early Morning Terror Attack At Kalandiyah Checkpoint
A Female Arab terrorist approached the security booth saying she wanted ask a question and then proceeded to stab the woman at the booth. The injured woman was rushed to Hadassah hospital in Jerusalem with minor injuries

A female Arab terrorist stabbed a security officer at the Klandiyah checkpoint near Yerushalayim this morning. First responders who arrived at the scene provided medical attention to the 25-year old female security officer, and then transferred her to Hadassah hospital in Yerushalayim fully conscious and suffering from minor injuries.
The incident took place at around 6:30 AM this morning (Israel time), while the terrorist was attempting to enter into Israel through the Kalandiyah checkpoint. The terrorist claimed she had a question to ask and was motioned forward to the security booth. When she was close enough to the woman at the booth, the terrorist withdrew a knife and stabbed the security officer in the shoulder.
The commotion alerted other officers at the checkpoint who immediately neutralized and arrested the terrorist. She is identified as a 39-year old from Taibe.
MADA first responder Tamir Cohen and MADA Paramedic Tzvi Tavnes were the first to arrive at the scene and treat the injured woman. They remarked, “when we arrived at the scene they (security personnel) led us to a room at the checkpoint where we found a 25-year old woman fully conscious and walking around while suffering from a stab wound to her shoulder. We administered first aid and then transferred her to Hadassah medical center with minor injuries”.
