Military Cemetery Vandalized On Yom Ha’atsmaut

Member of the Kiryat Biyalek Chevrah Kadisha who arrived this morning (Teusday) at the local Beis Hachaim were horrified to discover that vases placed at the graves of fallen IDF soldiers were smashed and its contents were littered all over the place.

In light of the incident, the Kiryat Biyalek municipality has filed a complaint with the police, and has requested that police and forensic teams do everything in their power to discover the identity of the criminals.

Meir of Kiryat Biyalek Eli Dukrosky, expressed shock and sorrow over the incident and called on police to do everything in their power to locate the perpetrators of the hate crime.

Referring to the intensified pain of the crime since it was perpetrated just one day after ‘Yom Hazikaron’, Dukrosky remarked:
“The day after we bowed our heads… in the cemetery with our fallen loved ones, this is a great sorrow and great anger”.
