Prime Minister Netanyahu and Indian Prime Minister Modi Meet Moishe Holtzberg

Israeli prime minister Benyamin Netanyahu and visiting Indian Prime minster Nirnadra Modi met with Moishe Holtzberg today (Wednesday), the child whose parents Hy”d were murdered during a terror attack on Mumbai India back in 2008.
Moishe told the Indian PM that he misses India, and PM Modi replied that his country is open to him.
During the meeting, Moshe shared with the Indian PM that he hopes to one day take his parents’ a’’h place in India; and head the Chabad house in Mumbai.
PM Netanyahu told Moishe that he plans to take him along with him on his future trip to India.
Moishe came to the meeting with his grandparents from both sides: His father’s parents Nachman and Freida Holzberg, and his mother’s parents Shimon and Yehudis Rosenberg.
Sandra, Moish’e nanny who saved him from the terror stricken Chabad house, and then joined Moishe and came to Israel, was also present at the meeting with PM Modi.
Moshe’s grandfather, R’ Shimon Holzberg was interviewed by Galey Tzahal radio this morning and shared the family’s feelings on the meeting. “The fact that elite Indian officials recall the incident, and remember Moishe- we have to remember that the PM came for a three day visit for economic relations with Israel, and despite this the Indian PM sees it fit to visit Moishe, this really moved us.
This shows us that the Indian nation did not forget the incident, and they are with Am Yisroel”.

Speaking about his grandsons ambitious plans for the future, R’ Holtzberg said, “Moishe wants to continue the Chabad shlichos that his parents Hy”d did in Mumbai. That’s his house over there, that is where he was born.
Toward his Bar-Mitzva, Moishe will visit India”, added the grandfather.
